Ads ads ads!
The app may be ok if u pay for it but the trial is so cluttered with ads I couldnt even figure out what the experience was supposed to be like. Immediately youre presented with a full page video ad which you have to watch then throughout every page of the app there is more than a half page ad which cant be dismissed and you can scroll down to get past it. It stays on screen and you have a tiny viewing space to see the actual app. On a 6+ it makes the app unusable I cant imaging what its like on smaller screens. Once you finally can navigate to the work out and go to start your ride you have to wait to start and watch another video. While navigating the app you have to watch a video every time you tap on a different section. From what I can tell it doesnt do anything but give you a time to follow with a generic 5 min warm up, ride town the cool down. No special instructions to maybe provide challenge or a goal the creepy voice prompt tells you when youre done each section and thats it. There are certainly better choices that could have been implemented to present smaller, less intrusive ads. On top of this when you finally get to your workout after 5 mins of navigating ads the app doesnt even run in the background. You have to leave your screen on the whole time. After a "beginner" 30 mins work out the app had used half of the battery life of a 6+!! I dont understand what its doing with all that battery when it doesnt even track you your path or any significant data. In your summary you can see the time you spent, distance traveled and average speed. Not even a drill down into the data. This is just unacceptable. I do understand that this is a free version and I could pay to remove ads but based on the gross abuse and misuse of them in the free version Ive rated it one star. I wont be buying it and it has been immediately delete. This was worse than getting caught in an endless cycle of pop up ads on a PC. You will get one more star when you apologize in your app description for insulting your potential customers with spam under the guise of an actual app. If your looking to view ads instead of doing your workout definitely download this app otherwise get a real app that uses appropriately proportioned iAds and doesnt abuse the privilege of being on your device.
Too many crashes mid-workout
Good concept of the buggy crashes would get fixed.
